A member of our community, Capt. Eden Nimri was killed on 7/10 while defending her soldiers with her body. When we received a request for shoes from the unit in which she served, we told them our connection to Eden and how important it was for us to help them. When it was time to collect the shoes instead of sending a driver, 5 commanders from the unit came to receive the 70 pairs of shoes. For us and Eden's family, it was very moving.
חברת קהילה שלנו, סרן עדן נימרי נהרגה ב 7/10 תוך שהגנה בגופה על חיילותיה. כשקיבלנו בקשה לנעליים מהיחידה שבה שירתה, סיפרנו להם את הקשר שלנו לעדן וכמה חשוב לנו לעזור דוקא להם. כשהגיע הזמן לאסוף את הנעליים במקום לשלוח נהג הגיעו 5 מפקדים מהיחידה לקבל את 70 זוגות הנעליים. אותנו ואת משפחתה של עדן זה ריגש מאוד.
